Once a rule is active, customers simply can’t combine tagged products with anything carrying a different tag, whether they add items in one visit or come back days later with the same cart still saved.

Tick “Enable restriction”, then choose what happens when a customer adds a product with a different tag: block it with an error, or empty the cart and swap in the new item.
